By Sarah Apéro /// The maple season is finally here, and it’s the perfect opportunity to make yourself a nice little maple cocktail. I suggest a gin sour, sweetened in a distinguished way with a 100% Quebec-produced mead, Hydromel Érable et Miel by Miel Nature. The result is stunning.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ oz – Gin
  • 1 oz – Honey Maple Mead
  • 1 oz – Lemon Juice
  • 1 – Egg white
  • 1 pinch – Maple sugar

Preparation

  • Moisten the side of a glass and frost with maple sugar.
  • Shake all ingredients vigorously in a shaker filled with ice cubes.
  • Strain into cup and serve.
