The site displays programmatic advertising (Mediavine) and contains affiliate links (including Amazon) as well as occasionally sponsored articles. We may earn a commission at no additional cost to you.
9. Sharing with third parties
We never sell your personal information. We disclose it only: to our service providers (e.g. Google Analytics, Mediavine, our newsletter platform) for the purposes set out here; when required by law (warrant, court order); or to protect the safety and rights of a person. These providers are required to protect your information in accordance with this policy.
10. Processing outside Quebec
Some of our providers (notably Mediavine and Google) process information outside Quebec and Canada (for example, in the United States). We take reasonable measures (including contractual clauses) to ensure your information is protected to a comparable standard.
11. Retention and protection
We keep your information only as long as necessary for the stated purposes: cookie data and log files for a maximum of 13 months; newsletter sign-up information for as long as you remain subscribed (then deleted upon unsubscribe). Mediavine Programmatic Advertising (Ver 1.1)
The Website works with Mediavine to manage third-party interest-based advertising appearing on the Website.
