This tuna pasta salad is my girlfriend’s version! A fresh summer meal that is easy to do. Serve that with a nice cold white wine and you are in business!

  • 400g fusili by Barilla
  • 2 tomatoes with seeds removed, cut in small dices
  • 2 cans (170g) chunk light tuna
  • 3 scallions, finely sliced
  • 1 big green bell pepper, diced
  • 3 hard boiled eggs, diced
  • 1/3 cup fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup Miracle Whip sauce
  • 1 teaspoon curry powder
  • Salt and ground pepper

  • In a big pan filled with boiling salted water, cook the pasta al dente following instructions on the box. Pour in a strainer, rince thoroughly with cold water and drain well.
  • In a big salad bowl, add the pasta with the rest of the ingredients then stir to combine well. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Reserve in fridge for at least 30 minutes.

Our wine stewards suggest

+- 15$Vignoble Rivière du Chêne Cuvée William 2013

Light with a original spicy character. An original blend coming from… St-Eustache!

+- 30$Château De Pierreux 2013

Brouilly is a vintage from the Beaujolais region. We can find round and fruity gamays, perfect for this type of joyful and unpretentious cooking.

Yakima, Le Castor

This IPA with aromas of grapefruit and tropical fruits will emphasize the taste of curry in the salad. The bitterness of the beer will evoke the one of green peppers. It’s a really summery pairing !
