Ingredients

  • 1 full chicken of 1.5kg
  • 3 tablespoons softened butter
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon Sriracha
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons dried mustard
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1 teaspoon onion salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon celeri salt
  • Ground pepper
  • St-Hubert BBQ spices for french fries

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven at 375°F.
  • In a medium bowl, combine the butter with the ketchup and sriracha. Spread the mix evenly all over ( and under ) the chicken and don’t forget to rub some in the cavity!
  • In a medium bowl, combine together all the spices except the St-Hubert BBQ spices.
  • Place the chicken in a big cooking tray and sprinkle the spices mix evenly all over the top and sides. Finish by lightly adding some St-Hubert BBQ spices everywhere.
  • Cook in the oven for about 1h15 minutes or until chicken is no more pink. Cut in a breast to make sure! ***Cover with foil if top becomes charred too rapidly.*** Serve along with a nice brown gravy sauce and some baby potatoes with roasted garlic and thyme or with roasted carrots with honey and white wine!

Our sommeliers suggest
Carmen Reserva Pinot Noir 2014
A soft pinot that has character. It's woody accents will allow this wine to pair perfectly with the barbecue spices. See the product
Saison du Tracteur, Trou du Diable
This Saison beer with citrus, tropical fruit and spices aromas will bring a fruity taste that will be paired well with spices and aromatic chicken. The typical dryness of this Saison beer will highlight the juice of the chicken. See the product
