Preparation

  • Preheat the oven at 375°F.
  • Open the crescent dough packs the delicately remove from the packaging. Unroll gently and place on a floured working surface. Slightly roll down with a rolling pin and leave the rectangle form!
  • Spread the ham and the cheese then season with pepper to taste. You have 2 options here : you can either roll the smaller side up for medium size bites (like on the picture) or you can roll the long side up which will make smaller bites. One sure thing, roll it up tightly!
  • Cut in 1.5 / 2 cm thick slices then place on a cooking tray.
  • In a bowl, add the butter, mustard and maple syrup then stir well. Pour on the rolls, garnish with poppy seeds to taste and place in the oven. Cook for about 15 minutes or until the dough is nicely golden! Give the tray a 180° rotation halfway.

Our sommeliers suggest
Pas Sages Riesling 2022
Canada
This Canadian riesling, with notes of lemon and green apple, is lively, with fruit that stays tender. Its freshness cuts through the butter in the croissants and the richness of the cheese, and its fruit picks up the gentle sweetness of the maple ham. The Dijon mustard wakes it up even more. Perfect for bites that vanish before they reach the table! See the product
La Blonde de l'Anse, Pit Caribou
The croissant dough is flaky and buttery, the maple ham is sweet. A blonde ale with fine fizz, with grain and bread notes, supports the dough and leaves the ham and cheese out in front. A crisp beer for a crisp roll-up, plain and simple. See the product
