OH MY GOD THAT I LOVE these English muffin bites with black olives and cheese !!! Thanks to Josée, the aunt of my friend Sébastien, who made me discover this amazing recipe. The kind of bites that disappears the second you put them on the table. Yes, exactly, my pleasure.

E. Guigal Côtes-du-Rhône 2016
We need a wine with a certain frame, textured, a little greasy, a little spicy, with hints of honey and roasted almonds. We also seek a nice balance, whether dry, light, with a fresh finish to highlight the curry, accompany the texture of English muffin and the mayo. Eureka! I found a wine that has all these qualities ... The white Guigal is made mostly of viognier and in addition, it is affordable at $ 19.70.

Stout Impérial, Pie Braque, 9%
With strong aromas of toasted beans, coffee and chocolate, this beer will be enjoyed with both curry and the black olives. Dry enough in the mouth, it will be softened by the mellowness of the bite, cheese and mayonnaise. Its percentage of alcohol will be very little noticeable, because hidden behind roasting grains and a slight acidity reminiscent of small red berries.
