I really got carried away with this smoked bucatini gratin with squash, Comté JuraFlore cheese and grilled chorizo. I like dishes that are long to prepare, it seems? An excellent Californian Chardonnay! Its notes of pear, apple and hazelnut will complement the aromas of the Comté JuraFlore cheese. It will also offer hints of maple and wood that will enhance the smoky side of this luxury gratin !!!
Nothing better than a beer with cucurbits to accompany this gratin. With aromas reminiscent of pumpkin pie, this beer dominated by hints of clove, cinnamon and nutmeg will complete the squash of the recipe. The roundness of the beer, from the caramelized sugars, will be an added comfort to this recipe. The hints of caramel will marry wonderfully with the smoked, the Comté and the chorizo in the dish.
