Flavored salt –

It’s time to get out your little jars that you’ve been keeping ”incoup” 😉 It couldn’t be simpler, you’ll need salt (70%) and herb or citrus (30%). There’s no basic recipe, as you can flavor it to your taste with whatever you have in your pantry. You can use any kind of salt, any herbs/spices/citrus. However, make sure the ingredients are sufficiently dry. Herbs, for example, need to be dehydrated beforehand.

Tea blend –

The ideal, highly original gift for a tea-loving friend. Why not try making your own blend? To start, you’ll need to select the type of tea leaf: green, white, black, herbal and others.

Then you can add whatever you like, using your imagination: herbs, fruit, spices, flowers. My favorite blend is the following: Green tea, hops, chamomile and rose petals.

Soup in a jar –

I love the idea of preparing these pots in advance to give as gifts! They make quick meals without compromising on taste, and the possibilities are endless. Here’s a recipe for lentil curry. You’ll need: 1 cup coral lentils, 1 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp onion flakes, 1 tsp curry powder, 1 tsp paprika, 1 tsp turmeric, 1 tsp cumin, 2 tbsp dehydrated vegetable and 1 chicken or vegetable stock cube.

A note should be added to the jar, giving the method of preparation: In a saucepan, add 1 tbsp butter, 2 cups boiling water, 1 cup spinach, 1 can coconut milk and the contents of the jar. Bring to the boil, cover and simmer for about 45 minutes, or until the legumes are tender.

Candied orange peel –

I admit that at first I thought it would be complicated, but in the end it’s super simple! You’ll need : 2 oranges, washed and dried, 1 cup sugar, 1 cup water. I’ve tested 3 ways to serve the peels.

1 – Add ¼ cup bourbon to your syrup.

2 – Instead of putting the barks in sugar, keep them in the syrup in a jar.

3 – Dip bark into previously tempered chocolate.

Remove the bark, trying to tear it as little as possible. Place your bark slices in a saucepan and cover with cold water. Bring to the boil and boil for 1 minute. Drain and repeat the operation at least 2 more times to remove the bitterness. In a saucepan, bring the water and sugar (+ bourbon) to the boil. Add your peels to the pan and boil until translucent (20-30 min). Drain and leave to cool. Put some sugar in a bowl (don’t put too much, as the bark will absorb it all) and roll the bark in it. Leave to dry for about 3 hours at room temperature.

Smore’s cookies on a baking sheet –

They’re so easy to make and so delicious! Perfect for large families, teacher gifts and any other occasion!

You’ll need: 1 cup butter piece temperature, 2 ½ cups brown sugar, 4 large eggs, 2 tsp vanilla extract, 3 cups flour, 1 tbsp baking powder, 1 tbsp salt, 12 oz chocolate chips, 10 oz mini marshmallows, 5 sheets graham cracker pieces.

Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Place a sheet of parchment paper on a baking sheet and coat with a thin layer of canola oil. In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar. Add remaining ingredients, except graham crackers. Mix well. Spread the dough on the baking sheet and sprinkle with the cookies. Bake for 25-30 minutes, until golden brown!
