Limoncello and maple macerated strawberries and blueberries

Macerated fruits
- 2 cups (500 ml) fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
- 2 cups (500 ml) fresh blueberries
- Zest of 1 lemon
- 2 tbsp (30 ml) limoncello
- 2 tbsp (30 ml) maple syrup
- 1 tbsp (15 ml) brown sugar
For serving
- Store-bought or homemade whipped cream

Preparation
- In a large bowl, combine the strawberries and blueberries. Add the lemon zest, limoncello, maple syrup and brown sugar. Mix well to coat the fruits evenly.
- Cover the bowl and refrigerate between 2 and 3 hours. The fruits will release their juices and form a fragrant and glossy syrup.
- Divide the macerated fruits among small glasses or cups. Drizzle with some of the syrup that formed at the bottom of the bowl.
- Garnish generously with whipped cream and serve immediately.
