- In a big bowl, add the beef with the dried oregano and Montreal spices. Blend together with the hands then form 4 larges but thin patties, about 1 cm thick.
- Preheat the bbq at max and reduce to medium intensity. Oil the grills, place the patties and cook for 2 minutes. Give a 45 degrees rotation and continue cooking for 2 minutes. Flip and repeat : cook 2 minutes, rotate 45 degrees and cook 2 minutes. Meat should be well cook! Verify before remove from bbq. Butter and grill buns if desired.
- Time to stack up those burgers! In a bottom, spread 1 tablespoon of sauce then add 1 tablespoon of chopped onions and a bit of lettuce. Add a cheese slice, the beef pattie and top with another bun base.Repeat with the sauce, onions, lettuce and beef pattie. Add 2 slices of pickled, 2 sliced of bacon, a bit of ketchup to taste then finish with the top bun!!! Serve immediately and good luck staying clean!
PS : You’ll end up with 2 extras top buns. Just grill them the next day and eat them as toasts!
