Air fryer steak bites
- 800 g beef sirloin, trimmed and cut into large cubes
- 2 tbsp (30 ml) soy sauce
- 1 tsp (5 ml) Sucré No 3 by La Pincée or brown sugar
- ½ tsp (2.5 ml) garlic powder
- ½ tsp (2.5 ml) onion powder
- ½ tsp (2.5 ml) smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- A light drizzle of olive oil
Lemon and garlic butter
- ¼ cup (60 ml) butter
- 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
- Zest of ½ lemon
- A small handful of fresh parsley, finely chopped
- Salt and pepper, to taste

Preparation
- In a small skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the chopped garlic and cook for 2 to 3 minutes without letting it brown. Remove from heat, add the lemon zest and chopped parsley, season with salt and pepper, and stir to combine. Keep warm.
- Pat the beef sirloin cubes dry with paper towels. In a large bowl, combine the soy sauce, sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Add the beef cubes and toss well to coat. Drizzle with a bit of olive oil and mix again to evenly coat the meat.
- Preheat the air fryer to 450°F (or maximum heat) for 5 minutes. Place the beef cubes in the basket in a single layer. Cook for 5 to 6 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the steak bites are nicely browned on the outside and still pink in the center (medium rare).
- Transfer the steak bites to a bowl, pour the warm garlic lemon butter over them, and toss to coat. Serve immediately.
