Air fryer chicken wings

  • 2 lb chicken wings, separated
  • 1 tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp. your favourite BBQ mix
  • 1 tsp. brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • 1 tsp. onion powder
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tbsp. baking powder (makes all the difference for ultra-crisp wings)
  • Pepper to taste

Preparation

  • Pat wings dry with paper towel to remove moisture. Place in a large bowl and add oil. Mix to coat well.
  • In a bowl, combine all spices and baking powder. Add half the mixture to the wings, mix well, then add the rest. Stir again to coat each wing.
  • Preheat Air Fryer to 400°F. Place wings in a single layer in the basket. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, stir the wings, then bake for another 10 to 12 minutes, or until ultra-crisp and golden brown.
  • Serve with your favorite sauce: buffalo, honey-sriracha, my homemade ranch sauce or just plain!
