That&#8217;s where this one comes from. I&#8217;m the one who decided to throw artichokes in there, because they&#8217;re delicious and because they give some bite to something that would otherwise stay soft and rich from the first bite to the last.<\/p>\n<p>The rest I kept the way she made it. The two cheeses, the cream cheese. The smoked paprika is hers too.<\/p>\n<h3>\ud83c\udf3f <strong>Fresh spinach, never frozen<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Just about every spinach dip out there starts with a frozen block you have to wring out in a towel. Not mine. Frozen spinach comes out wet and mushy, and you taste it. Raw baby spinach melts on its own in the heat of the cheese, keeps a bit of texture, and honestly doesn&#8217;t give off that much water. It&#8217;s the one thing in this recipe I won&#8217;t budge on.<\/p>\n<h3>\ud83c\udf89 <strong>The dish you bring to your friends&#8217; place<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>A party, a potluck, a dinner where everyone brings something. That&#8217;s where this dip belongs. You can assemble it the day before, it travels in its own baking dish, it comes out of the oven and goes straight to the table, same as my <a href=\"https:\/\/lecoupdegrace.ca\/en\/recipe\/pizza-style-hot-dip\/\" target=\"_blank\">pizza-style hot dip<\/a>.
