I’ve always loved asparagus, and when Quebec asparagus season arrives, usually from March to May, it’s one of my favorite ingredients to cook with. You’ll find them everywhere in public markets, perfectly fresh, and their short season makes them even more special. This air fryer asparagus is my favorite way to prepare them on weekdays: simple, quick, and the result is absolutely insane. Five ingredients, ten minutes total, and you have a side dish worthy of an Italian restaurant. ### \ud83c\uddee\ud83c\uddf9 **The Italian profile that makes flavors explode** I love the Italian profile on asparagus, finely grated pecorino and Italian spices, because it’s simple, delicious and literally makes the flavors explode. The pecorino brings that concentrated salty side that awakens the asparagus, the garlic provides depth, and the lemon zest with its juice squeezed just before serving brings the freshness that balances everything. It’s exactly the kind of side dish that transforms a grilled BBQ steak or baked fish into a special meal without requiring any extra effort.<\/p>\n

The air fryer is simply the best way to cook asparagus when you want crispy on the outside and tender on the inside in under 10 minutes.
