This homemade lemonade recipe is exactly the one that takes me back to childhood, at my grandparents’ house, those beautiful sunny summer days spent with family. I’ve always loved lemonade and I wanted to make a real, classic, kid-friendly one for my children. Four basic ingredients, a big pitcher, about ten minutes of prep. And you get 3.5 liters of the best lemonade you’ll drink all summer. No comparison to store-bought versions full of artificial flavors.<\/p>\n

\ud83c\udf4b Why simple syrup changes everything<\/h3>\n

The secret to a real homemade lemonade that doesn’t taste like granulated sugar floating at the bottom of your glass? Simple syrup. We dissolve the sugar in hot water to get a perfectly integrated liquid that instantly mixes with cold lemon juice and ice water. No grains, no separation, just smooth and balanced lemonade from first to last glass. And with 2 cups of fresh lemon juice (about 10 large lemons) for 7 cups of water, the ratio is exactly right. Lemony without being aggressive, sweet without being syrupy.<\/p>\n
