Croque-monsieur bites

These minis croque-monsieur make an amazing salty starter that will disappear from the table way too fast! Use cinnamon and raisin bread if you like the sweet and salty mix!

Ingrédients

  • 15 slices prosciutto ( sliced thin but not too much ), cut in chunks of 4-5 cm
  • 1 1/2 cup sharp cheddar, grated
  • 3/4 cup fresh bread baguette, cut in mini cubes
  • 1 mini-muffins pan

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven at 400°F.
  • Place 2-3 chunks of prosciutto in the bottom of each holes and press to make the meat stick in the bottom and form a bowl. If slices are too thin, add a couple of layer!
  • Add a pinch of grated cheese in each holes then a couple of bread cubes. Cover in cheese then throw in the oven for about 10-12 minutes, until then are nicely cooked and crispy! Remove from oven and let cool down for 2-3 minutes before unmolding. Serve immediately!
